On 10 April, 2018, Dr. Csaba Rada, Head of Mission met with Ms. Ola Awad, President of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). Mr. Csaba Rada conveyed the greetings of President of the Hungarian Central Bureau of Statistics and congratulated for the census of late 2017. The President of PCBS said that the census was implemented in extremely difficult circumstances and briefly described its results. At the same time Ms. Awad raised the possibility of the cooperation between the PCBS and Hungarian research institutes in order to develop the research capacities and methodologies on both sides.
