On 15 December, 2017, Dr. Csaba Rada, Head of the Representative Office of Hungary in Ramallah visited III. Theophilos Greek Orthodox Patriarch and reconfirmed that the cause of the Christians living in the region is being monitored at the highest levels in Hungary and we pay special attention to the Holy Land. The Patriarch expressed his gratitude for Hungary’s continued support, especially in church renovation in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and His Beatitude said that there are a few such an honest and Christian supporter countries like Hungary and they are looking forward to further cooperation between the sides.
